Hi, I'm Emily.

If you've been feeling stuck in the same patterns—struggling in a relationship, feeling disconnected from yourself, or overwhelmed by anxiety that feels loud and relentless—you're in the right place.

On the outside, you might look like you have it handled—showing up, getting things done, keeping it together for everyone else. But underneath, there's a different story—the same argument that never resolves, the same anxious loop, the same questions about who you are and what matters to you.

Maybe you've become burnt out, and the coping strategies that used to work don't anymore. You're unsure how you'll keep going, or how to get back to yourself.

You don't have to keep carrying that alone.

HOW I WORK

I work with individuals and couples who are ready to look at what's really driving things. Together, we'll explore the patterns you keep bumping into, the motivations you might not be fully aware of yet, and the experiences that have shaped the way you move through the world.

What you'll find in a session with me is someone who shows up fully: I bring compassion, curiosity, honesty, and humor. I'll challenge you to think differently or go a layer deeper, but always with warmth.

I want to support you to expand your capacity for thinking and feeling — whether that means looking back at your history, staying with what's happening right now, or slowing down enough to notice what your body is telling you.

I work primarily from psychodynamic and narrative frameworks, weaving in neuroscience, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy concepts to connect what's happening in your mind with what's happening in your body. For couples, I draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy and attachment theory.

I stay attentive to the complexities of trauma and neurodivergence—not as clinical categories, but as forces that shape how we relate to ourselves and the world around us. Creating a space where all parts of your identity are welcomed and affirmed is central to my work.

WHAT I BELIEVE, AND HOW IT SHAPES MY WORK:

  • Understanding your unhealthy patterns is the beginning of doing something about them. Making hard changes is easier when we're seeing clearly.

  • Healthy relationships are grounding and healing, which is why the therapeutic relationship is a big part of the therapy. How we get along matters just as much as what we talk about.

  • We can learn a lot by being curious about the parts of ourselves that we don't want to show most other people. I want to get to know the whole you.

  • Anxiety is often the tip of the iceberg, and it's usually a good signal that there's something underneath worth exploring.

  • Couples therapy works best when both people feel safe enough to be honest and vulnerable—sometimes vulnerability looks like confessing something shameful, but sometimes it's just staying open to a story that doesn't match your own.

“I want to support you to expand your capacity for thinking and feeling.”
